International IDEA’s fifth Democracy Forum “Democracy and Poverty: A Missing Link”, organized in collaboration with the World Bank and UNDP, was held 8-9 June, 2000 in Stockholm. This year’s Democracy Forum aimed to identify ways in which democracy assistance and poverty alleviation projects can be better linked in order to promote democracy and human development.
